016 - Mr. Fish

I still remember it. The pale white sticker we thought as M-Div would bring an understanding to that thresher of men, and now women. “The Boat Will Provide” was all it said. What it meant though was "Fear not! For anything you seek in this life is provided to you. If it is not provided, you should not seek it." This sticker's message was a reprieve to those who have lost and a warning to those with things to lose.

So when our Mr. Fish arrived, we gathered around the aft workbench to spy our curio. All I could think looking at those big beady eyes was, Why? Why have you provided this to us Boat?

After Mr. Fish fell to the fathoms of Delta Pier, I felt as though this was just the boat obeying our chief law. Happiness can neither be created or destroyed just taken or given. It wasn't until later that I realized it is loss that teaches us the worth of things and as soon as you realize life is a gift you will be free of the suffering we cause ourselves and each other. 

So what the fuck does this mean? 

Hate week comes and goes. We are all in this bilge together, and Don't feed corn flakes to Mr. Fish. Do him and everyone else in your division a favor and shell out for the good stuff.

Oh!... and Don't forget to file a ship-alt for his fish tank.
