011 - Proficiency Watch
It’s the one time you don’t mind being on watch. Field day watch, the moment when holding your pee for all those hours pays off. That time when staring at your panel doesn’t seem so bad compared to climbing in the outboards and wiping the same spot for 3 hours. That’s right, it’s the blessed #fielddaywatch.
But wait, there is a twist. The EDMC has decided that this will be the moment he stands his proficiency watch unannounced. Is it because he also hates cleaning? Probably not, it’s actually because he's an asshole. He even had the audacity to hold the leave hostage to force ET1 to clean. We've all been here. Not all EDMCs are this diabolical but in our comic he is. I guess the lesson here is even when you think you have a good deal, there's some variable you haven’t thought of taking it away.
